Eros and the Eschaton Home Address For Civil War

Home Address For Civil War

CD version

With their son in tow, duo Adam Hawkins and Kate Perdoni left Iowa to tour the country, each watching the baby while the other was on stage. When their van broke down in Greensboro, NC, they formed Eros and the Eschaton, set up shop and spent the next year making their debut LP Home Address for Civil War. Their brand of shoegazer dreampop brings to mind the greats, and comparisons have been made to My Bloody Valentine, Slowdive and Yo La Tengo. They by no means copy those that have come before them as much as give a friendly nod. Maybe their pal Sergio said it best: “You’re not a wash of reverb, you’re a cloud of love.”
